Core principles
- Only play if you are of legal age and allowed to do so in your jurisdiction.
- Never treat gambling as income, a financial solution or a way to recover losses.
- Set a budget before you play and stop when that budget is reached.
- Do not use money needed for rent, bills, debts or essential expenses.
Tools available in your account
- Deposit limits
- Set a maximum amount for a daily, weekly or monthly period.
- Loss limits
- Block further betting once eligible net losses reach your chosen threshold.
- Session-time limit
- Add a time limit to reduce sessions that run too long.
- Temporary break
- Activate a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day cool-off from your account area.
- Permanent self-exclusion
- Request a permanent account block. In the current implementation, the request takes effect after 24 hours.
Warning signs
- You play longer or spend more than you planned to.
- You hide your gambling activity from family, friends or your partner.
- You borrow money, sell possessions or use funds meant for essential expenses to keep playing.
- You chase losses by increasing your stakes or session length.
- Gambling is affecting your sleep, mood, focus, work or relationships.
- You feel restless, anxious or irritable when you try to cut back or stop.
- You think about gambling constantly, including while at work or with family.
External support
If you suspect that you, or someone close to you, may be developing a gambling problem, please seek professional health support. Talking to a doctor, therapist or a dedicated helpline is a confidential and effective first step.
In France, Joueurs Info Service and the ANJ publish resources on self-exclusion and voluntary gambling bans. Internationally, GamCare, Gambling Therapy and the National Council on Problem Gambling can point players to specialist help, often free of charge and available 24/7.
Protection of minors
CEPAT89 is for adults only. Parents and guardians should protect devices, passwords and payment methods, and may use parental controls or blocking software.
Risk monitoring
CEPAT89 may monitor risk signals such as rapid stake increases, long sessions, repeated deposits, repeated attempts after failed payments, frequent bonus requests or sudden behavioural changes.
These signals may lead to a responsible gaming reminder, a request to take a break, a limit, an additional KYC request or a manual account review.
Before you play
- Set a budget you can lose without affecting essential expenses.
- Use limits before a session starts, not after a major loss.
- Do not play under pressure, fatigue, alcohol, financial stress or strong emotion.
- Pause if you are trying to recover losses or increasing stakes to chase results.
- Request a break or self-exclusion if gambling takes more space than intended.
