AML and KYC Policy

The CEPAT89 AML/KYC policy covers identity verification, transaction monitoring and anti-money-laundering measures to keep our platform safe for all players.

Purpose

CEPAT89 applies a risk-based approach to detect suspicious activity, protect players, verify identities and maintain a reliable financial history.

Identity verification

  • A national ID card, passport or government document may be requested.
  • Recent proof of address may be required.
  • Payment-method evidence, crypto-address evidence or source-of-funds information may be requested depending on risk.
  • Accepted upload formats in the account area are JPG, PNG and PDF, with a 10 MB limit per file.

When checks are requested

  • Before a withdrawal, because approved KYC is required to withdraw.
  • When cumulative deposits exceed EUR 2,000 over a rolling 30-day window, or when a single transaction exceeds EUR 1,000, in line with FATF thresholds and the EU 5AMLD framework for online gaming.
  • When a transaction, login, withdrawal destination or gaming pattern appears unusual.
  • When required by law, a payment provider or an internal review.

Crypto transactions

Crypto deposits may be reviewed by currency, network, address, amount, frequency and transaction reference. Players must only send funds they are entitled to use.

Monitoring and actions

  • Operations may be delayed during a compliance review.
  • A withdrawal may be refused if the destination is invalid, the account is not verified or prohibited activity is detected.
  • Accounts, bonuses, games or transactions may be suspended while an investigation is pending.
  • Suspicious activity may be reported to competent authorities when required by law.

Records and confidentiality

AML/KYC documents and information are handled with restricted access and kept according to applicable duties, audit needs, fraud prevention and the defense of CEPAT89 rights.

Risk-based approach

CEPAT89 applies proportionate risk-based checks. Some accounts may be verified at registration, before a withdrawal, after unusual activity, after a payment method change or when a financial threshold is reached.

Verification may include identity, age, address, sanctions screening, proof of payment ownership, source of funds or source of wealth where the profile or transactions justify it.

Review triggers

  • Deposits or withdrawals unusual for the account activity.
  • Multiple payment methods, high-risk crypto addresses or inconsistent destinations.
  • Account data or documents that do not match.
  • Access from countries or devices presenting higher risk.
  • Behaviour indicating fraud, laundering, restriction evasion or third-party funds.

Possible measures

During an AML/KYC review, some deposits, withdrawals, bonuses or gameplay access may be suspended. If documents are insufficient, expired, falsified or inconsistent, the account may remain limited until resolved.

CEPAT89 may refuse a transaction, cancel a bonus, close an account or retain information where needed for compliance, security, disputes or applicable reporting obligations.
